Choosing the right laptop brand for your needs
Model Matters More Than Brand
Two laptops from the same brand can be completely different in quality. Instead of choosing only by logo, compare:
- Processor generation (newer is better)
- RAM (16GB recommended) and whether it is upgradeable
- Display quality (IPS, brightness, refresh rate)
- Build and cooling
- Warranty and after-sales support in Sri Lanka
Use our laptop comparison tool to put any models side by side.
Warranty and After-Sales Service
In Sri Lanka, after-sales support matters as much as the brand. All four brands have authorised service channels locally, but this only helps if your laptop is a genuine unit with valid local warranty. Learn more in how to buy a genuine laptop in Sri Lanka.
Final Verdict
- Choose Lenovo for the best keyboards and business laptops
